Influenced by teachers, peers, and my life changing experience with yoga, I aim to bring a sense of inclusivity and empowerment to each of my classes. Through intention, meditation, pranayama and asana, my students leave each class feeling refreshed, renewed, and inspired. Yoga is a practice - meaning if you are a beginner, a teacher, or advanced practitioner, I welcome all levels willing to flow, breathe and grow with the intention of your practice becoming a yogic lifestyle.
Dee Ann’‘s classes are my absolute favorite. You can expect something new every time and the flows keep you wanting more. You can feel Dee Ann’‘s calm, accepting and strong energy through her classes — even via zoom!!! | can't recommend her class more. Her flows invite challenge, awareness, compassion and gratitude into my daily life. I'm thankful to get to experience her energy and soul
Finally NOW I’m making progress in yoga bc of my instructor! Deeann is awesome! I’ve taken yoga for 3 yrs , but Deeann teaches completely differently! She is so unique in that she will strengthen you and you won't even know it!I call her “sneaky”! I only take 3 virtual classes a week! And I can not tell you how great of shape my body is in now! I receive many compliments. I get very insecure and intimidated doing exercise of any type . But I LUV VIRTUAL CLASSES! When I do it virtual, I turn off MY camera , but watch Deeann. And no one can see ME exercise! And last, but not least! She has taught me yoga is a healing modality. Not just an ‘exercise’. And since I have some ptsd, she’s taught me how to apply my yoga as such: a healing modality.
